Mouse Without Borders shows other computer with blue border - will not connect

Steps to reproduce

Setup Mouse Without Borders based on documentation.

I have already checked (several times, on several different versions of PowerToys) the following:

• Existance of correct firewall rule
• Absence of firewall rule which would prevent a connection
• Disabled all network interfaces other than Wi-Fi connection
• Both machines are on the 192.168.. network
• All settings are identical between the two machines
• Both machines are using the same version of PowerToys (currently 0.77.0, though I've tried other versions as well).
• Both devices have the same security key configured. (I've changed it several times.)
• I've tried using IP address mapping and leaving that blank.
• I've tried both Easy Mouse mode enabled and disabled.

✔️ Expected Behavior

It connects. On each laptop, the other laptop is highlighted in green to indicate a complete connection.

❌ Actual Behavior

It seems to connect. On each laptop, the other laptop is highlighted in blue, and the mouse does not move between them.
