I propose an expansion to the Keyboard Manager module.
Limitation
At present, only a single .exe can be considered a "Target app:".
Proposal
Allow multiple .exe's to be a target in a format such as: MSEdge,Chrome,Firefox
Allow the title of an application to be a target in a format such as: Microsoft Edge*,PowerToys.Settings,Task Manager
Allow websites to be a target in a format such as: [.]xbox.com,[.]discord.com,[*.]hoyoverse.com
Scenario when this would be used?
It's time consuming to replicate the same hotkey for many programs and may cause a negative performance impact on the software/system. The user experience is diminished by needing to replicate such actions.
Many websites use unconfigurable shortcuts, which the user needs to put up with or investigate third-party solutions, such as userscripts or extensions, which may slow down the browser or compromise security.
Web apps are becoming more popular, and thus a more robust solution is necessary in order to control them in a consistent manner, as if they were actual apps with their own .exe structure.
Some applications, such as Task Manager and Task Scheduler, share an .exe (mmc), which causes confusion for the user when attempting to control both applications after adjusting the shortcuts through PowerToys.
Would second this, even a change to specify the full file path of the executable would be helpful, that way multiple instances of the same app could be run with different settings.
