Steps to reproduce

I am on my desktop, I wish to highlight my mouse, I press the keybind (for me control x2) and the mouse highlighter shows up about 60% of the time.

✔️ Expected Behavior

To press control twice and the mouse to be highlighted

❌ Actual Behavior

I sometimes press control twice as many as 8 times before the mouse highlighter will show up. Sometime it shows up after a single stroke of control twice but not consistently. I run powertoys at start, and never restart it once booted.

Similar experience here, am on Windows 10. It feels as if MouseUtil tools is warming up in response to the keybind press. For me this issue happens after PC restart (probably PowerToys restart but can't confirm since I never explicitly quit Powertoys).

This might be coursed by clicking on a window running as administrator and PowerToys not running as administrator
