Hey! This is already possible, check it out:
Description of the new feature / enhancement
Not sure if it is already possible, but it would be nice if we would get and interface for remapping certain shortcuts, like the ALT-TAB to WIN+W or ALT-F4 to WIN+Q and other things like that
Scenario when this would be used?
I am coming from Linux, where even if I used a tiling WM now on KDE I am using shortcuts to get things done quicker
Sometimes when I need to work inside Windows it's a bit annoying to leave the keyboard with my hands and go for the mouse, because for some reason things like minimizing or maximizing a window or even closing it is faster with the mouse than streching my fingers for the ALT+F4
And I think a lot of people would benefit if we could remap some of the Windows shortcuts to more familiar/easier to reach keys
As a start, I would like to see basic Window-management shortcuts being "remappable" like min, max, close and then some extra like, cycle between windows on the screen(not like ALT-TAB but more like WIN+L focuses the window to the right from the current focus and WIN+H focuses to the left, just an example), maybe workspaces can get some love too and implement shortcuts for switching between them or sending the currently focused window to a workspace(for example WIN+2 focuses the second virtual desktop, and WIN+SHIFT+2 sends the current focused window to that virt. desktop)
Supporting information
The PowerToys as an application I think is targeted more for the power users, and I think most of the power users agree with me if I say that using shortcuts can make certain things easier
Ofc, I think there are solutions for this, and even 3rd party apps, but if something I would like to access these features from one app
