Area(s) with issue?

General

Steps to reproduce

After restarting and logging into my Windows 11 machine, the PowerToys tray icon is missing, as well as icons that should be there like the Awake utility. Task Manager confirms these processes are running (at least 9 powertoys* exe programs are active and functioning normally (I can use fancy zones, pt run, etc), I just can't reach the tray icon.

Restarting the computer (restart, not shutdown) does not solve the issue. However if I run taskkill.exe /im powertoys.* to end all the 9 or 10 processes and then restart PowerToys from start menu, it shows the icons again (until the next system restart).

✔️ Expected Behavior

Icon should be visible. See screenshot.

❌ Actual Behavior

No icons in tray. They are not available to turn on in Windows settings / taskbar options either.

If I run taskkill.exe /im powertoys*.exe

Other Software

No response

I'm having the same issue. I believe it started happening after updating to 24H2 26100.712 which was pushed to the Release Preview channel.
