Keyboard Manager remapped shortcut stopped working unexpectedly #34144

Microsoft PowerToys version

0.83.0

Installation method

PowerToys auto-update

Running as admin

Yes

Area(s) with issue?

Keyboard Manager

Steps to reproduce

I had a remapped shortcut set up to Hibernate my PC using the shortcut: Win (Left) + F4, but it stopped working a couple of months ago.

With the shortcut set to Win (Right) +F4 it works fine. With just Win + F4, the program runs fine using either the right or left Windows key.

So, I think something may have broken with setting the Win (Left) modifier key.

The rest of the settings for the Hibernate command are as follows, in case it is needed:

Action: Run Program App: C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe Args: powrprof.dll, SetSuspendState 0,1,0 Start in: C:\Windows\System32 Elevation: Normal If Running: Show window Visibility: Normal

I retried the Win (Left) modifier key and it is now working. It probably was a glitch and needed a reset by deselecting it and reselecting it?

After a restart, it has stopped working again, and resetting as above isn't working this time. It does, however, work as a chord.
