quick accent bug for letter "a" #34361

Steps to reproduce

I need to produce this letter (ā), small letter "a" with horizontal line on top. But when I do it with quick accent, the line is hanging on the next letter. image

✔️ Expected Behavior

the line should be on top of letter 'a'

❌ Actual Behavior

the line goes to the next letter, regardless of what the next letter is.

mostly default, except sort characters to usage frequency set to 'on.' "activation key> left, right or space" "do not activate when game mode is on>check" "character set> all available" "tool bar position>top center" "show the unicode code>off" "sort>on" "start selection from left>off" "input delay>300ms" "excluded apps>none"

Hi @bebotette, I still can't replicate this on my machine, does this happen only in notepad or also in any other applications?

thank you for checking on your end. I tested it again and yes, it seems to only happen in notepad. That's sad and terrible. But thanks. I think it's the notepad's issue.
