Steps to reproduce

I believe this issue first occurred yesterday (17 Oct 2024 New Zealand Time). I haven't noticed any pattern to this issue. I thought it might happen when my last prompt was opening a file on a network drive, but it has also happened when the last prompt was opening remote desktop.

I can't replicate this issue every time. I think it might occur when it's been a while since I last opened PowerToys Run. Maybe this means Windows is stopping some background services or something?

I see there are other recent reports of PowerToys Run crashing. I haven't had that specific issue where it opens an error log occur.

It seems to be similar to PowerToys Run freezes for a few seconds when opened sometimes but not quite the same. In my case the window shows as you would expect, not blurred.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Press Alt + Space to open PowerToys Run

✔️ Expected Behavior

PowerToys Run opens immediately and I can type a command or search query

❌ Actual Behavior

• Sometimes the expected behaviour
• Sometimes PowerToys Run will open and display my previous query but it is frozen and won't respond to any input for 5-10 seconds. After this time, whatever I typed while it was frozen appears.

This is still occurring on the latest PowerToys 0.86 release.
