You can teach windows which monitor you want an app to open in instantly by moving the app to that monitor, then closing it in that monitor. Typically an app will re-open into whichever monitor it was closed in.
Would there be a way to add a button to the title bar to move the window to another monitor. Similar to what DisplayFusion Does. I understand the win+"Arrow key" but other people forget keyboard shortcuts.
Id love a PT that allows me to set my preferred multimon config, when is swap between different external docking stations / monitors. I think this is a common scenario in an Open-seating office where there are many similar desks , but as I do not 'own my desk' each day that i walk into the office likely its a different one.

Displayfusion functions, create 2 and 3 monitor profiles where automatic opening of applications in the correct monitor 1, 2 or 3, would be great!
Options to configure the "primary" window for individual items, like the start menu, applications (individual or all) and notifications.
Many apps or loading screens, start on the primary window, would be nice to extend the functionality beyond windows remembering where the window was launched, but also set up where they should initially start. Would do wonders for gaming as quite a few don't have the option to select which window it should start on and will start on your primary screen and often not work properly when moved with the shortcut.
Also, having individual virtual desktops per monitor would be neat as well.
Primary display should always be Monitor 1 IMO. If there were a way to easily re-index the monitors, that would help keep things consistent.
Whilst now spending a lot of time working from home and then the office randomly, and always having to organise windows it would be great if fancyzones could:
Allow you to define zones for each different monitor that is plugged in giving a unique zone id to each zone across the monitor.
each monitor then has unique zone IDs and when different monitors are attached each open app will resume into the last unique ID zone on the attached monitors that they were last in on that monitor, and/or prompts for orphan apps (apps where it has never been assigned to any Unique ID zone that is available in the current monitor setup. This requires a history for each monitor which apps were last used in which unique zone id. Apps would stay in the zone that it is in as long as the zone is still available on the monitors that are attached.
Allow you to place apps into the zones by tying into the windows key logic (i.e. Windows 1 switches to the 1st app on the taskbar) , if you could then without releasing the windows key press another digit for a zone it would allow apps to be both quickly switched to and quickly organised, e.g. full sequence [Win + 1] (keep windows key down brings up the zones as an translucent overlay) [2] would put 1st app into zone 2. This could also be hierarchical - e.g. you could go App, Monitor, Zone - Win+ 1, 3, 2 would put first app onto monitor 3 into zone 2 - with onscreen overlays showing you the app number (similar to the long hold of windows, then the monitor numbers (similar to identify monitors) then the zone number
+1 Moving between a laptop and 4 screen desktop set up myself is currently very frustrating and definately not a smooth experience.
I think that virtual desktops need to coincide with physical monitors as mentioned previously - or at least this should be an option. The zones stuff isnt particularly useful without this in place.
Mac OS nailed it perfectly - just copy the feature.
When clicking on a shortcut or Start Menu item in Monitor 1 I'd like it to launch in Monitor 2. Vice-versa for Monitor 2. If we could teach Windows which apps we like in which monitor over time, and any snap-to preferences while in each monitor that would be awesome!
