A while back I suggested adding thumbnails for SVG files. Can you add some for .flv, .webp, and *.webm files?

Aaron-Junker commented 3 years ago

I also would add a converter.

I also would add a converter.

With all do respect, thumbnails and converters are very different things.

Also, webp had a relation to #3990

don't know how FLV would be supported now Flash is dead.

WillPittenger commented 3 years ago

The video format could still be supported. And the files still exist. They don't vanish.

crutkas commented 3 years ago

I don't know enough about that format but typically you have a codec. On a clean machine, we need to know how this would react.

Icaros got you covered

You can already encode/decode webp using this. https://developers.google.com/speed/webp/download

It includes a file viewer utility as well.

But it would be nice to have thumbnails for webp, or at least a preview, in file explorer.
