We could add the search in the title bar like in a lot of MSFT products like Teams
Azure Portal (I know it's a website but it still looks similar)
Microsoft Word
With the current title bar, It will not look good. We will have to wait for #1547
I think we should add the search as first element in the nav bar. Like in W10 settings app.

I think @htcfreek's idea is better because PowerToys settings uses NavigationView
Yes, I also agree that the NavBar would probably be the best option. It would probably be good since it's not tied to the Title bar, especially now, as it still uses the older style.
Is there any chance we may see this sometime in the future? I do like how the options have been re-organized, but I would still like some solution with a full search form eventually.
I'm sorry it's currently not planed to be integrated. But if you want you could try doing it yourself!
Hello admin, we need this feature in 2024. The issue still persists, with the added features/modules in PT, this issue has become more prevalent!
Thanks admin
Description of the new feature
It would be nice to have a search box to search for options within PT Settings. This isn't immediately necessary, but will be more useful as new tools and options are added.
For example, I have trouble focusing on the long list of options in FancyZones settings, it usually takes 8-16 seconds for me to find a specific option. If I was able to search for a keyword, it would be much easier to locate the specific setting.
This should function similar to Windows Settings search, but it would be nice if you could toggle the settings directly from the opened search, unlike Windows Settings where you have to click the specific option before changing the setting (Not a big deal if there are technical limitations to doing this).
Alternatively, a Ctrl+F solution would be acceptable, but I think a dedicated search box would be better overall.
