This works locally. I suspect there was a transient NPM error which caused the 404?

@RyanCavanaugh Yes, it looks like @types/cookie-parser
does work now. Is the rest of the ATA response here correct however. From the description of https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode/issues/21877 and from the logs, it seems like intellisense is not working for more than just cookie-parser

Does that mean that typings have not been downloaded all of those packages? Will we attempt to download them again?

yes, an error happened when installing, be it a network issue, an npm issue..

next time the server starts it will try again. so it is a cache for the session life-time.
so if I find under this path %localappdata%\Microsoft\TypeScript\node_nodules, I just got one directory types-registry, means that all these types is not installed, right?
ah yes, I think there's issues with the registry I used. After changing to the official public npm registry, all the types have been downloaded. thanks guys
