Unable to install on Windows #951

What version of node do you have installed? The project was originally developed using node 10.x. If you have newer versions of node you may encounter some issues. Trying using node 10.x for the time being and report back your results.

If you are intending to use VoTT out of the box I would recommend downloading the release binaries.
