Since update to windows 24H2 Error code: Wsl/Service/CreateInstance/0xd0000022 #11630

Repro Steps

I updated to windows 24H2 and since then, I cannot start wsl. Writting wsl -l -v in a terminal gives my distro configuration: NAME STATE VERSION

Writting wsl in a terminal gives the following error: Performing one-time upgrade of the Windows Subsystem for Linux file system for this distribution... Error: 0xd0000022 Error code: Wsl/Service/CreateInstance/0xd0000022

I have tried to update, uninstall/reinstall. Nothing seems to be working

Expected Behavior

Wsl should start as usually

Actual Behavior

Error: Performing one-time upgrade of the Windows Subsystem for Linux file system for this distribution... Error: 0xd0000022 Error code: Wsl/Service/CreateInstance/0xd0000022

Unregistering and importing back the distro solved the issue
