This issue doesn't happen when I use Microsoft/config-wsl
with the usage of modules and doing a make modules_install
. The problem is the kernel with modules breaks a lot of userland software like iptables
and such and therefore is unusable, see my other issue about that https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/11884.
