Repro Steps
wslpath -aw $(which bash)
and get\\wsl.localhost\Ubuntu-22.04\usr\bin\bash
/usr/bin/wslinfo
bind-mounted into the container.wslpath -aw $(which bash)
and get\\wsl.localhost\Ubuntu-22.04\usr\bin\bash
again.Expected Behavior
Inside of the container,
wslpath -aw $(which bash)
should produce something like\\wsl.localhost\Ubuntu-22.04\var\lib\docker\overlay2\CONTAINER_ID\merged\usr\bin\bash
.Actual Behavior
Inside of the container,
wslpath -aw $(which bash)
produces\\wsl.localhost\Ubuntu-22.04\usr\bin\bash
