I'm having two separate (but somewhat related) issues: sometimes WSL Ubuntu doesn't start (the "Ubuntu" window doesn't print anything and VSCode can't connect to WSL) and normally when that happens, the "FiraCode v2" font just disappears from my computer. The weirdest thing is, when I go to install it again, it says it's already installed, but it doesn't show up if I search for it.
After that, I can restart VSCode and it works again.
However, the first issue can only be resolved by doing a full restart (shutting down and turning back on doesn't work because of fast startup).
What's wrong / what should be happening instead
Instead, the Ubuntu console just gets stuck in a black screen.
Other information
I'm almost sure this started when I installed MongoDB, but this seems to happen even when I turn off MongoDB before shutting down. It's a really weird behaviour that I can't understand.
Please tell me if there is a need for logs. I haven't collected them now because this issue only happens sometimes, but I will next time this happens.
Also, I know this issue will (hopefully) be fixed in WSL 2, but I'm waiting for the stable release of 2004 because trying that out.
Has anyone experienced something like this?
