YES. I TOTALLY SUPPORT THIS!
I did a post on https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/run-cuda-inside-docker-wsl-on-windows-11-hyper-v-vm-with-gpu-patritioning/308212. I tried to explain it in more detail to see if somebody knows how to do it but I realized this is kinda a Microsoft problem.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I am not able to use my Nvidia GPU inside WSL2 in a nested virtualization scenario (WSL2 is running inside a Windows 11 Virtual Machine). The GPU works fine on both the Host and the Virtual Machine (via GPU partitioning)
Describe the solution you'd like I would like to be able to use the GPU inside WSL2
Describe alternatives you've considered I can run WSL2 directly on the host I guess
Additional context Host: Windows 11 Pro Virtual Machine: Windows 11 Pro GPU: Nvidia RTX 3090 with latest drivers (511.79) Kernel: 5.10.60.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2 #1 SMP Wed Aug 25 23:20:18 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
