The D2DCustomEffects's CustomVertexShader (Universal Windows) sample app crashes when debugged. #1187

Hi,

I'm using Visual Studio 2019 latest version (16.5.1), Windows 10 latest version 1909 18363.752, and when I debug (F5) the CustomVertexShader universal app in x64 or x86, it crashes. Note you need to enable all exceptions (including first chance ones) to see the details like below:

It seems to crash in Direct2D (D2D1.dll), but I'm not sure why, other samples in the D2DCustomEffects project are working fine. Maybe the shader code has issue?

When I run it w/o debugging it, it "seems" to run normally. PS: I've not modified the sample beyond what Visual Studio does to update the project to the latest runtime tooling.

Where's the bug ?
