Update main.css #293

Cleaned up the CSS code by removing duplicated selectors and consolidating common styles.

Fixed the formatting by using consistent indentation and spacing. Added comments to sections of the code for better readability and understanding.

Improved the code structure for easier maintenance and future updates.

problem I'm familiar with how it is and don't have time to test that you haven't broken something, so I'm punting on this for now, thanks anyway.
