Ok, but it might also help to send some screen shots of what you have in mind so I can see it first before you do a ton of work.

Hi @lovettchris @clovett,

I wanted to provide an update on the progress of the project. I’m currently focused on rewriting the entire codebase to modernize both the functionality and the design elements. This effort is quite extensive and takes a significant amount of time, but I’m committed to delivering a polished product as swiftly as possible.

I also wanted to mention that I resolved the recent build issues, which were specific to my PC, so the project should be more stable now. Please note that all my changes are happening locally, so they aren’t visible in my fork yet.

The revamped design will take inspiration from a blend of Microsoft 365 and the Notepad from Windows 11, aiming for a sleek and user-friendly interface. I believe these changes will enhance the overall user experience significantly.

Just a heads-up: I’m sending this message from my alternate account because I’m not logged into my laptop at the moment.

Thank you for your patience, and I’ll keep you updated on my progress!

Also, I plan to send some screenshots in the near future to give you a clearer view of the changes and improvements I've been working on.

Thanks again for your support!
