Please add full support for WinUI3 Desktop applications #2541

UWP appears to be on its way out and I have moved my application base to WinUI3 Desktop. AppCenter is pretty helpful in improving application quality and I was surprised to find that there is no support for WinUI3 after attempting to upload symbols.

Hello @EdAlexander, looks like this is a duplicate of "Support for WinUI 3 (Project Reunion) apps #2299" WinUI supported since AppCenter SDK .NET 4.4.0 and later.

2299 was closed as completed but the issue remains. no crash support and winui3 desktop apps are only supported as UWP.... I see activity but no crash data

@EdAlexander, could you please share more information of your issue? What platform do you use, share logs and also it would be very helpful if you can provide sample project where issue is reproducible.

Cannot add a WinUI3 Desktop application in app center. image

Symbol files cannot be uploaded from build of WinUI3 Desktop application.

I have two apps that started in App Center as UWP that have been rewritten and released as WinUI3 Desktop in the store (same app identity).

Would like to be able to upload symbols and get crash data again.

Any updates @Oleg-Karoza? Looks like this item is about to be automatically closed... Still looks like an issue to me.
