What is the future of Xamarin.UITest? will it continue to be supported? #2588

Per Microsoft's statement, they are no longer supporting Xamarin and will now be transitioning to .NET MAUI. what does that mean for Xamarin.UITest, will there be a MAUI equivalent for Xamarin.UITest? Or will there be continued support for Xamarin.UITest? Any information on this topic would be nice to have for all those who have invested so much time and energy in creating our automation code bases around Xamarin.UITest. Thank you for any information in advance!

Based on what I've seen, it looked like they're moving to Appium for .NET MAUI testing.

Not sure if this is going to affect Xamarin.UITest but this is going on for app center and I know Browserstack does not support Xamarin.UITest. But I am hoping after this announcement they may support it.
