Build multiple targets/flavors on commit #50

Open pixelrevision opened 5 years ago

pixelrevision commented 5 years ago

Describe the solution you'd like Have the ability to build and distribute more than one target/flavor on each push to a branch.

Describe alternatives you've considered Creating multiple projects watching the same repository.

Additional context This would be extremely useful to always have prod and qa builds always available. It is also a needed feature in any sort of whitelabled app.

Any estimation on this?

stillie commented 2 years ago

We are now going into the 3rd year of this feature being requested? I personally don't use appcenter anymore but i asked a question on stackoverflow just under 3 years ago for a solution to this feature. Surprised this has not been implemented yet

Please don't close, having integrated analytics and diagnostics for builds targeting multiple test environments as well as production is extremely valuable.

Having the ability to select which environment to build for without the need to maintain distinct branches just to hold a slightly configuration file is a must for project using a continuous delivery approach with trunk-based programing.

This would be valuable for my team.

mark-zacharias commented 10 months ago

I just arrived here to see if this is still being considered.

juniorkibirige commented 10 months ago

Any progress on this

latobibor commented 8 months ago

Before it gets stale, I also would like to comment we would like to have support for it! We need slightly different named/icon apps with default values like language set differently. Now we need to have multiple branches for having multiple configs.

ricardo-alves-loka commented 6 months ago

That will be a feature soon?

stillie commented 5 months ago

I cannot believe this is still not a thing. I created a SO post 5 years ago (Linked in the thread earlier) and there is still no movement on this.

I moved away from AppCenter YEARS ago and havent looked back since. There are better alternatives out there with everything I have needed.

Still hope this gets added, not that i would use AppCenter again :)

Care to give me an example on that end? Which solution can build all app flavors at once? (We're not married to appcenter either - feels like it was a priority for a while but then they moved the people from the project.)
