[Feature Request] Average and Median Metrics in Azure Load Testing Reports #69

Open SubhrantC opened 2 years ago

SubhrantC commented 2 years ago

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I have noticed Azure Load Testing Reports have the ability to report metrics in 90, 95 and 99 percentile but does not have the option to report them in "Average" and "Median" values. They are standard statistic calculations and should be available on the reports to accurately measure the performance of the systems under Load Test.

Describe the solution you'd like Like there is an option to select Percentile values (90, 95 and 99) in the reports section of Azure Load Testing, we should also have the ability to select Average and Median.

Describe alternatives you've considered There is no workaround to capture the client side metrics in Average and Median. For Server-Side metrics, we can capture them from our Infrastructure metrics in Azure Monitor.

@ninallam - Any update on this for ETA when we can see average and median data as well coming in the perf runs? The aggregate report of JMX gives the average and median values as well.

Hi ALTS is in generally available according to this article[https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/microsoft-azure-load-testing-is-now-generally-available/]. Any updates on this Feature Request?

@ninallam Is there an update on when we can expect this feature? Being unable to view average and median response times is a major issue.
