Azure Data Studio is a data management and development tool with connectivity to popular cloud and on-premises databases. Azure Data Studio supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, with immediate capability to connect to Azure SQL and SQL Server. Browse the extension library for more database support options including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Within SQL editor, under the "View" menu or under the "Customize Layout" menu, I would like to suggest a visibility option to show or hide the "Results" & "Messages" tab(s) and to be consistent with naming-convention within the tool you might use "Results Bar" as the proper term.
In SSMS tool, this is done via keyboard shortcut [CTRL + R] which is the command to "Hide Results Pane" under SSMS > Window menu.
While Azure Data Studio does not have a "Windows" menu bar item necessarily, I find this feature highly useful while drafting T-SQL so would like to request it be added to Azure Data Studio as well.
I don't have any particular input on the "Notebooks" results display if there is an equivalent since I don't use that feature as frequently, but I'm sure the Product Owner or power-users of the "Notebooks" view can suggest.
Thank you.
