Azure Data Studio is a data management and development tool with connectivity to popular cloud and on-premises databases. Azure Data Studio supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, with immediate capability to connect to Azure SQL and SQL Server. Browse the extension library for more database support options including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
In Connections menu in side pane, right click on Databases, select Restore Database(Preview)
In General tab, select Backup file in Restore from box
Click button with 3 dots to open browse file menu
In the folders tree, look for media/<username>. This is where you see Local Drives in HDD installed in computer.
In my case ADS is unable to access Local drives in my computer hence unable to show. You can see this in screenshot attached where media/<username> expands but nothing is shown further. And sometimes browse file menu doesn't even open (step 5 above).
