Azure Data Studio is a data management and development tool with connectivity to popular cloud and on-premises databases. Azure Data Studio supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, with immediate capability to connect to Azure SQL and SQL Server. Browse the extension library for more database support options including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
I'm currently off-site, and I need to modify and rename a saved server connection in the Connections list for an on-prem server. There isn't any way to do that through the interface because it doesn't save anything until you successfully connect. There doesn't seem to be a way to save a new, untested connection, either.
Sure, I can dig into the JSON and modify it there, but that seems incredibly unnecessary.
