Problem Statement Microsoft edge browser have a "math solver" feature. (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/articles/learn-how-to-solve-math-problems-with-math-solver-in-microsoft/m-p/2195689) However, it is only available in websites. I hope to use this feature in all the apps in windows. Besides, a math solver in a browser is really strange and difficult to discover.

Evidence or User Insights Microsoft calculator is a better place for math solver than microsoft edge.

  1. Calculator already have graphing function.
  2. When I need a "math solver" feature, I'll probably look for this feature in calculator app, not microsoft edge. So this feature will be easier to discover if put in calculator. Let calculator to do everything about mathmatics.
  3. Suppose I'm doing my homework with microsoft word (or excel, powerpoint etc.). I have to launch edge browser to use math solver (which is slow on startup, and consumes more electriciy), and I'll be easily distracted by websites in the browser. If math solver is put in the calculator, I only have to launch a tiny calcular app (which is fast and lightweight). https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/articles/learn-how-to-solve-math-problems-with-math-solver-in-microsoft/m-p/2261553/highlight/true#M5309
