Problem Statement

This would let people update to a newer version or get an older version to see if there was a regression. Target audience would be, well, anyone using Calculator.

Evidence or User Insights

For reporting bug fixes and for fixing regressions.

Proposal

By adding appx downloads, people can test for bugs, create suggestions without having to check commits too far. By adding appx downloads, people can do regression tests.

Goals

User can update to latest Microsoft release (includes currency conversion from Bing) User can update to latest non-Microsoft release User can install older releases

Non-Goals

Low-Fidelity Concept

Requested Assignment

I'm just suggesting this idea. I don't want to implement it.

This is your friendly Microsoft Issue Bot. I've seen this issue come in and have gone to tell a human about it.

It looks like there are two suggestions here. I am going to spin off adding details about the project in the about flyout into a new issue, and leave update this one to track improving availability of appxs for builds.

I would love to see this available. Once this is available other distribution channels could be added, like chocolatey.org

I am willing to create this chocolatey package, just like I have done for Terminal. (have a look at the package page for more information)
