Charticulator visual doesn't reliably render when published to the Power BI service #977

Describe the bug Starting two days ago (April 20th, 2022), a Charticulator visual I have been using for a number of weeks in a tooltip page stopped reliably rendering when published to the Power BI service.

To Reproduce The visual always behaves as expected the first time you view it in a tooltip, but then won't render at all unless you navigate to a bookmark, at which point it behaves as expected again.

I also tested navigating to another page to see if it restores rendering of the Charticulator visual ...it does, but only if you interact with the other page (e.g., hovering over a tooltip).

I show both in videos uploaded below.

This issue only occurs in the Power BI Service. It does not occur in Power BI desktop [though I am using a slightly outdated version of Power BI desktop: 2.102.845.0 64-bit (February 2022)].

Expected behavior The Charticulator visual reliably renders when used in tooltip pages.

(This is all fictitious data so I was able to share the videos)

Hi, were you able to find out what is causing this issue? we are facing another kind of issue with Edge browser.

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to identify a cause.

thanks for replying. I loged also a new issue today. unfortunately Microsoft support is not able to help although it's all in Microsoft products :(

Unfortunately Microsoft support have been disappointing us for the last three weeks. This ticket was given to them: 2204250050000504. Lots of miscommunication and unprofessional way of dealing with such critical issues. If anyone here can push it and share some details from your side, please do. Logs, traces (hat files) for a working session and not working session we’re provided. Got today answer from them that nothing can be done as logs not showing anything… which I doubt if right people checked these logs/ traces
