What is the current behavior?
This PR contains all of the updates to modules and documentation from an engagement where Cobalt was used. The templates have been updated to leverage any breaking interface changes. If submitted, this will become the basis for the 2.0 release.

The templates need to be updated since some APIs for the modules have changed. All needed changes are wrapped up into this commit.
