Describe the issue

Here are the details of error

  1. Flow Name : Admin | Sync Template v3 (Apps)

Error Action 'Get_Apps_as_Admin' failed

Hello I'm afraid we do not repro this. The app flow works fine for the default and other environments.

Can you please confirm that the user identity installing and running the flow has the Power Platform Admin Role? You need this role in order to see all objects in the tenant. Here is a document in case you need help finding that answer: PPAdmin Role.pdf

If so, can you please validate that you dont have unmanaged layers on the flow? This would prevent you from having the latest version of the flow, even after your upgrade: Please install the latest version of the toolkit following the instructions for installing updates.

  1. Check that none of the connectors in the flow are broken: image image

  2. Validate that the connectors all belong to that same identity you believe has ppadmin.

  3. Then did you double check that the ppadmin role is still applied today?

  4. Do you use PIM in your organization?

I checked the access issue and it is not , ID on whose reference it is running I checked they have access all the time and is not PIM.

The second error states you do not have permission to the envt being run in that flow. That is typically caused by the two issues I stated above: ppadmin or pim.

Can you comment, is this occurring for a single environment (aka a single instance from the daily runs)? Multiple? All?

I have an admin access and could not locate environment - c6cbd56a-115a-4b06-bdc1-82f4111edcac at all. Looks it is orphaned environment. Can that be the problem ?

I take it to mean this is happening for a single run (a single environment). Is that accurate? Is it the same environment for both the two flows (apps and flows sync flows)?

And the environment may have been deleted since the original sync flow started. Can you rerun Admin | Sync Template v3 and see if it recurs?

I did a deep dive into the error, looks like there has been a constant error daily and the same error, for APP it is failing for default env, so should not be the issue related to access or env delete. For Flow also there is a pattern every day it is failing for the same 7-8 environments, almost the same error.

Errors are also not very self-explanatory and very generic “Action 'Get_Flow_as_Admin' failed”

You failures for the Apps do indeed look to be due to the product caching issue we discussed. We installed the flow together and had it running to loop all apps in the default and then get, once that fails you can go to product support and they can fix your cache. Here is that flow again, in case you need it.

Deleted Apps Product Bug I believe you have hit a known product bug around caching of deleted PowerApps. If so, you will need to contact support to have them clean this up in order to have this flow start passing.
Our recommendation is to first get a repro outside of the toolkit before contacting support. You can use the below flow to get this repro.

To use: Import the flow, open, select the environment which repros for you.
It loops the apps, will hit the same failure and the you can go to support with this flow instead of the toolkit, for faster iteration to fix.

The flow error sounds like it could also be the same caching bug from what you have shared, here is the flow version of the above to test with:

I was able to recreate the failure scenario for APP , but not for flow. I have re-executed the flow for another environment to check if I can recreate the failure scenario for Flow also.

Here are the details for APP failure. Please let us know what is the next step .. on how to fix this caching issue
