Closed Pharosz closed 1 year ago

Pharosz commented 1 year ago

Describe the issue

I am following the instructions on Activate the business process flows. It says I should turn on the processes from inside the solution, but its dissabled, the yellow notification says: "You cannot directly edit the objects within a managed solution. If the managed properties for solution objects are set to allow customization, you can edit them from another unmanaged solution."

If I go to the Power Platform Admin View App and try to activate from there, I can click activate, but nothing is changeing, remains deactivated.

I have Global Admin and Power Platform Admin rights in the tenant + Per User Plan for PowerApps and PowerAutomate as well.

Expected Behavior

I should be able to turn on the processes as in the instruction manual.

It looks like the UX has changed. Here is where you go to update. I've marked this as a documentation bug to update. Thanks for posting. image

@Pharosz This has been fixed in the latest release. Please install the latest version of the toolkit following the instructions for installing updates. Note that if you do not remove the unmanaged layers as described there you will not receive updates from us.

This is still happening - still based on the Doc the BPFs cannot be turned on from the solution

As a work around I turned them on from Dynamics 365 Home page > Settings > Processes
