Do you know if it is planned to have everything to manage Power BI components ALM in the Power Platform Build Tools extension one day?

It's being evaluated but no concrete plans to share at this time.

While the above example uses package deployer, the code calls the Power BI REST API. Short term plan is to show how to do things this way.

Now that Power BI report support in solutions is rolling out in public preview, we should use that instead, but can only add it to our sample solution after the feature is rolled out to all environments in all regions.
