[CoE Starter Kit - BUG] Error message when importing the solution core components #7083

Closed mikarepos closed 10 months ago

Does this bug already exist in our backlog?

Describe the issue

I want to configure Center of Excellence (tenant) for the Power Platform for the first time as this is the new implementation and I tried several times to import the CenterofExcellenceCoreComponents_4.16_managed.zip and also new version CenterofExcellenceCoreComponents_4.17_managed.zip solution into Power Automate but when I click on the buton "Next" on the step of establishing of the connection with the connections, I get every time the same error message as below . I tried in browsers like Google Chrome, Edge and also in inprivate mode and I enabled the third part cookies within the browser but still I got the same issue and cannot import the solution CenterofExcellenceCoreComponents_4.17_managed.zip into the Power Platform in order to further continue the configuration of the coe-starter-kit. I have contacted as well the support Microsoft Power Platform to investigate the issue but after some investigations and checking the network traces when recreating the issue, Microsoft Power Platform support agent told that based on their checks, as Coe tool is supported by Github, and hence it is out of scope from their end. The Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit is not supported by the Power Platform product team. For issue related to the 'CoE Starter Kit' product, Microsoft Power Platform support requested me to report the issue to https://github.com/microsoft/coe-starter-kit/ I have done the search but I did not find the same issue reported earlier on Github.

Could you investigate and help resolve this issue.

This is a product bug related to processing environment variables. Please see https://github.com/microsoft/coe-starter-kit/issues/7050#issuecomment-1806035240 - the workaround is to use this URL https://make.powerapps.com/environments/solutions?powerappsConnections.enableShowAllEnvVariablesOnImport=false with the URL parameter and import the solution from there.

Closing as this is a duplicate of #7050. If you continue to see issues, please comment on #7050.

Great, I just tried this workaround and it is working.
