[CoE Starter Kit - BUG] Environment Delete #8674

Closed renrous closed 1 month ago

Does this bug already exist in our backlog?

Describe the issue

Hello Yesterday, a deployment of the CoE starter kit was carried out, versions Core Components 4.33 and Audit Components 3.24, the configuration of the modules was completed, today we found that with the user who deployed the CoE, he eliminated 2 equipment environments, this does not help us. It had happened in other implementations, we reviewed flows, documentation and issues but we did not find any information or action in the flows that directly eliminate the power platform environments, we need to know if in the solution there is a flow that eliminates power platform environments for some reason.

Hello. No the CoE kit does not delete any environments other than Dataverse for Teams environments (if you create them in teams) if you are using these flows:

These flows are part of the Governance (Audit Component) solution. See Set up Dataverse for Teams environment management

closing out as no further action for starter kit team

Hello, we reviewed and effectively the deleted environment was of the dataverser for teams type, in line with that what we identified is that the bot had activities in the last few days according to the definition of activities in the https://learn.microsoft.com/es-es/power-platform/admin/inactive-teams-environment#definition-of-user-activity product documentation but these activities were from bots and this is not contemplated in the flow logic

image therefore although interactions with a bot are considered an activity based on the documentation but the flow does not evaluate them, the bot is deleted, I think this should be taken as an issue and the flow should be modified to evaluate this type of activities and avoid the deletion of dataverse for teams type environments that are productive and active
