[CoE Starter Kit - QUESTION] mass deletion of inactivity notifications? #9225

Does this question already exist in our backlog?

What is your question?

We have recently turned on the COE starter kit to start emailing actual makers and managers of our Flows and Apps as we were getting things ready in the background.

However, after turning the setting back on to email actual makers. A lot of these inactivity notifications just went to the admin account and not to the makers.

So managers are now receiving emails saying their employees have ignored the notifications. Is there a way to mass delete all the approvals to restart the inactivity process so they go to the actual makers first?

Hello. Yes you can delete the data in this custom table in Core: Archive Approval

That is where we store the current state of the approvals, so deleting those records will result in you starting from scratch. Image

Okay perfect, thank you so much!

Would the only option be to go 1 by 1 deleting or is there a "Select All" way to delete them? I am not seeing anything obvious that allows you to select all.

The easiest way for me to bulk delete is to open in Excel if you have that Add-in available. Give that a try and if it doesn't work I can show you other ways. (picture below for a different table)

With the Microsoft PowerApps Office Add-In you can open the table in Excel to manipulate. image

Okay perfect, thank you! My org has add-in's disabled, and we couldn't even see which add-in was needed.

Thank you so much for the assistance, that works!
