I2C issue using 2.0.0 #1078

After uploading the firmware to the board and reset it the i2C stops workign.

I have the feeling the bootloader could be wrong here as the board works fine if I upload the sample firmware.

from further testing seems to happen when the serial monitor is open while booting.
