If you're looking for prebuilt, FAST no longer has a fully-baked pre-built option. There is an external project where much of that has been moved, Adaptive Web Components: https://github.com/Adaptive-Web-Community/Adaptive-Web-Components. The officially Microsoft offering which is built on FAST is Fluent UI Web Components. The latest version of that iteration is moving to beta now and based on Microsoft's latest version of Fluent Design. The most stable version would work with the current docs.
The current issue is needing to carve out time to reconfigure the docs site to focus more on FAST Element and the "headless" components from FAST Foundation. If you're looking for pre-built, I'd suggest checking out the above, although Shoelace and Spectrum are both great offerings as well.
Planned and "in process" with #6527
Due to various changes we are re-aligning the project, see #6955, there will be an explicit focus on @microsoft/fast-element
when v2 is launched with documentation for component library creators. We will be removing obsolete documentation as well, please file any issues on documenation after the launch of @microsoft/fast-element
v2, we are really hoping the update will clear things up!
I am really sorry - I was trying to evaluate Fast-Component (vs Shoelace and the adobe one), and installed it, but then npm told me that it was deprecated. After searching for this error message, I found a link to fast-element, and one link to the fast-element docs here... https://www.fast.design/docs/fast-element/getting-started/
Then when I try to find a component, it switches to fast-component - the deprecated library.
Is this project still alive? I am specifically trying to use components like menus and buttons for us to use in several apps.
