DatePicker - Custom Calendar System #9634

Are there any documentation on how to implement custom calendar system for DatePicker. For example to support Hijri calendar system.

Hi @alaatm! Thank you for filing this issue!

Unfortunately, I don't think this is currently possible with our implementation of Calendar/DatePicker. Can someone from @OfficeDev/uifabric-calendar confirm this?

Unfortunately, we don't support the Hijri calendar system in the Calendar component, we only support Gregorian. It's been brought up before but we currently don't have any plans to implement it.

Any updates? I intend to implement Solar Hijri calender for my project. if someone from the team can assist me a bit on how to contribute, I'm willing to make this available for everyone.
