I have already build the Xbox One and Xbox Scarlett builds with the same sandbox correctly.
Thank you for the question. The GDK-Tools\ProjectMetadata\MicrosoftGame.Config file is for PC-only.
The MicrosoftGame.config for Xbox comes from another location and is configured in another way. You can check the Unity Xbox forums for more information. We apologize for the confusion.
Now I am trying to port my game for PC with LIVE features like achievements and cloud save. I am talking about pc.

Ah I see. That error usually means there is no MicrosoftGame.config. Did you do a Build and Run from the GDK menu? The Xbox Live APIs won't work in the Unity editor or a standalone build. They need to be packaged as a MSIXVC, which can be done from the GDK > PC > Build and Run menu,

Yes I did a GDK-Build and the 8 run it myself from the file manager.

Were you able to run the store association wizard successfully?
Yes done that correctly. Also set up the correct sandbox and switched the pc apps to sandbox. Also logged in a user that is configured at this sandbox.

Hi,
I have Unity 2021.1.23 with June GDKX and correct plugin. I implemented the example to log in with the correct sandbox and settings and I get an error when its logging in: WindowsPlayer Sign in. failed. Error code: hr=0x89245110 This means E_GAMEUSER_NO_PACKAGE_IDENTITY "A package identity must be configured."
My GDK-Tools\ProjectMetadata\MicrosoftGame.Config file is correctly set up with the correct package identity. My PC is set up developer PC. What more can I try? thanks
