Description

  1. Introduction: The Cardio Health Connect App is designed to revolutionize heart health monitoring by integrating Bluetooth hardware, Azure cloud services, and advanced machine learning techniques. The app aims to provide real-time health data insights to users and their caregivers through a seamless mobile interface.

  2. Hardware Integration: The application interfaces with custom-built Bluetooth hardware, collecting crucial health information. This data is transmitted to the Azure database via mobile connectivity, ensuring a reliable and efficient flow of health metrics.

  3. Machine Learning for Cardiovascular Health: Leveraging linear regression analysis, the app utilizes specific features directly associated with cardiovascular diseases. This predictive model enhances the understanding of potential health risks, allowing users to make informed decisions about their well-being.

  4. Upgraded Features: In the upgraded version, efforts were made to introduce an AI-based chatbot using Azure OpenAI. While the deployment of Azure AI models, Function App, and Logic App to handle scenarios such as irregular heart rates was successful, full functionality was hindered by time constraints.

  5. Alert System: The intended purpose of the Logic App and Function App, along with Twilio integration, was to alert a patient's relative or guardian in case of continuous irregular heart rates. Unfortunately, due to resource limitations, this aspect remains under development, although the web API prediction functionality is fully operational.

  6. IoT Hub Integration: To enhance hardware capabilities, IoT Hub resources were created. This upgrade aims to facilitate direct data transmission from the hardware, ensuring a more efficient and seamless process.

  7. Challenges and Future Work: Challenges, including time constraints and resource limitations, impacted the full implementation of the alert system and AI-based chatbot. Future work should focus on refining these features, ensuring the completion of the envisioned functionalities.

  8. Conclusion: The Cardio Health Connect App represents a significant step toward proactive heart health monitoring. While certain features are still under development, the successful deployment of machine learning models and IoT integration showcases the app's potential to make a meaningful impact on cardiovascular health management. Continuous refinement and expansion of functionalities will be key to realizing the app's full potential.
