XQuartz Launches with MRAN in RStudio #57

It seems like XQuartz/X11 is interfering with RStudio 1.1.423. Is there any way to resolve this? Sounds like one of the Microsoft Packages may have a dependency which causes it to load randomly.

Confirmed, this still works when you open up the Microsoft R GUI, XQuartz still launches.

same for me, was wondering what causes xquartz to load and is it still required to be a dependency?

I am facing the same issue. (Didn't realize this has anything to do with MRAN and I was looking for solutions on RStudio forums without any luck)
