I'm using an unsupported OS (openSUSE Leap 15), but I think this would apply to supported OS' too. After a failed installation, I had to add the Microsoft repository signing key (https://packages.microsoft.com/keys/microsoft.asc found from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/linux-package-repository-for-microsoft-software). Easy to do, but it took me a bit to come across that page and make sure its the right key. I quickly searched the install.sh script and I didn't see anything about it adding keys. It would be nice to implement this or at least basic instructions to getting and adding the key.
Unrelated FYI, I had to change SuSE-brand/release to SUSE-brand/release to be able to install. Maybe the former works on SLE, I don't know, but I know openSUSE is not supported so not really requesting anything about this. Just letting you know.
