Please let me know if it's ok to host Reference ARM templates in the oe-engine Repo.

What do "Reference" templates mean?

They are merely sample template outputs generated by oe-engine.
We take no ownership to maintain these templates.

The purpose is for developers to play around with them, being aware that they take complete ownership to the templates when they deploy.

The purpose of oe-engine originally was to dynamically generate ARM templates based on a relatively simple apimodel json file.

As for including these example/reference ARM templates into the test folder: That may end up just confusing consumers of oe-engine. I'm honestly not sure whether it's necessary or not! I'd like to see what other people think :)

@shruti25ratnam what is the status of this? I am not seeing updates for all the issues that were raised. Should we just close this request?

I already shared the reference ARM templates with the team that requested for this. We can close this issue.
