@basmith24 How did you download the visual, using " from market place" option or "concrete version as admin"? In the first way should be used latest version from cdn, in the second - may be occasion when there are used concrete old version that applied on your new visual related report.
Also, pay attention on the Report Server October 2019 version - they had fixed some issues included in September 2019 version.
Hi, i am at a client that is closed off from the internet hence the use of the PBI report server exclusively. They recently upgraded the server to the September2019 version. We are also using the September PBIDesktopRS version to develop the reports. We downloaded the gantt 2 (something, i'm having to register this from the hotel as all internet access is blocked on their network) and it works wonderfully within the PBIDesktopRS app; but as soon as the file is saved to the report server; and opened in the server then the visual no longer works. After closing the file in the Desktop app and opening it from the server, it appears the visual has been replaced with an older version (gantt with no version number).
Is it possible that saving/"publishing" to the report server has overwritten the visual? and if so, how do we get the gantt 2.? installed on the server so it honours the PBIDesktopRS version we are publishing?
