[Feature]: Custom Icon for Fluent Nav and Fluent Pivot #489

Additional Functionality

Currently the Nav and Pivot controls support an IconName property. This allows selecting an Icon from the Fluent UI Icon list. This is a nice list, but it is by no means complete. It would be nice to be able to select an image that is in the app already, or provide the SVG command to render an icon for these controls.

The only alternative is to not use an icon.

Thank you for your suggestion and for taking the time to share your ideas with us. At this moment, we are focusing on maintaining and improving our existing features and are not supporting enhancements. However, always appreciate your input and will keep your suggestion tagged and in mind for future considerations.

We have definitely heard request for custom SVG support before from many customers. If we make progress on managing existing bugs, have enough customers asking for this and have more capacity to work on enhancements, we can potentially consider this as one of our first enhancements if everything lines up.
