Add a way to get from Home Page to microbit.org #4414

We removed links from the logos in the Nav bar with the branding updates. Can we add back in a way to get to the Micro:bit Foundation website from our Home Page.

Ideas:

  1. Banner + Button image

  2. Micro:bit Foundation listed as a link in Settings menu image

My preference would be to use the logo button. In the editor view, the micro:bit logo is used to link back to the home page, so from the home page only it could link back to microbit.org.

Is that what is described in 1. Banner + Button, or are you suggesting the link to the website is a carousel image with a button?

This was raised again in a recent team sync. Can we do this as a quick fix to link back to microbit.org @Jaqster @abchatra?

We will also consider the user journey between microbit.org and makecode.microbit.org as a bigger piece of work.
