Hello :-)

Would be nice to prepare to target .NET 8 as the current target make it impossible to be used in newer tools. (even .NET 7)

About .NET 7 problem: related to Microsoft.Diagnostics.Tracing.EventRegister package, it is not available over dotnet-public
